We love the Barbican Center! Don’t overlook this hidden gem while you’re in the area, where you’ll find delicious pastries and cakes and fresh coffee by Volcano Coffee Works. If you’re heading there a bit later in the day or coming for a film in the evening, you can also pick from their quality selection of wine and beer.

Allow us to introduce you to the world’s first prison-based coffee company! Built on the idea that they can ‘reduce reoffending through speciality coffee”, they employ past offenders and teaching them coffee industry skills with the aim of reducing recidivism in the UK.

Not only will you love their breezy and bright vibe with fresh coffee and tasty bites, but you can feel like you’re contributing to the greater good along the way. Seems like a win-win-win to me!

The bar area space accommodating for remote working, but be sure to check out the Mostrador dining area for a lunch to fuel up!

This hotel has an incredible coffee shop where they serve ethically sourced coffee from East End-based Ozone Coffee roaster and tasty baked goods with a wide range of gluten free and plant-based options, proper sandwiches and range of our house made smoothies and juices for breakfast, snacks and lunch. Their Lobby Bar also offers Neapolitan pizzas straight from the oven and a selection of drinks which you can enjoy from plush seats or a long working table.
